Bates + Barr is a dynamic musical duo consisting of Bob Bates and Nick Barr.  The Bates + Barr repertoire includes many Louvin Brothers tunes, as well as numerous tunes from the country and bluegrass libraries, and originals.  However, the duo is not limited to any type of musical genre.

They have performed together since the mid-late 1990's.  They have played the Ernest Tubb Record Shop radio show in Nashville TN.  Other venues include Proctor's Theatre, the Egg, the Altamont Fair, Schaghticoke Fair, and various clubs, schools and churches.
